A popular British rock band will perform a hotly-anticipated gig in Bristol next month.

Indie rockers Circa Waves will perform at the O2 Academy, in Frogmore Street, on March 27 at 7pm.

The Liverpool-based band has been making waves since their 2013 debut, and soon found themselves supporting alternative stars The 1975 on their UK tour in 2014 – and more recently in Australia.

Circa Waves are festival regulars, having rocked awesome sets at Glastonbury, T In The Park and Reading and Leeds – meaning you are in safe hands with this band which will have you longing for shows in the summer sun.

The band is on tour on the back of the release of their second album Different Creatures, which rock music bible NME reports has taken them to ‘heavier and darker’ places than before – though they still maintain their ‘scrappy’ indie sound.

Tickets, priced £17.43, are available from 08444 772000, or online via
