Rock ‘n’ roll stars set to wow Yeovil audience

FORMER members of the legendary 1960s rock ‘n’ roll band The Kinks are set to play an intimate gig at a Somerset venue.

The Kast Off Kinks, which is made up of Mick Avory, John Dalton, Ian Gibbons and Dave Clarke, have all featured in The Kinks’ line-up over the 

After leaving the band the four men decided to form their own group in 1994.

The Kinks, who rose to fame in the UK and the United States during the mid-1960s, are widely recognised as one of the decade’s most important and influential rock groups.

The Kast Off Kinks are set to delight the Yeovil audience with much-loved hits such as You Really Got Me, Sunny Afternoon and Lola, alongside more from the original band’s extensive back catalogue.

The Kast Off Kinks will be at Westlands in Yeovil on August 16 at 8pm.

Tickets, priced £8.50, are available from the box office on 01935 848380.
