YOU could win the chance to see one of the pioneers of rock ‘n’ roll at The Playhouse in Weston next month.

Marty Wilde will be performing at the theatre next month, showcasing some of his many hits from the 1950s.

He began his career in 1957 and was one of the first British singers to play a leading role in the ground-breaking rock ‘n’ roll years.

Marty will be performing with his band, The Wildcats, and will take the audience back through some of the most exciting musical times the country has ever seen.

Music is clearly in his genes as his children, Ricky, Kim and Roxanne Wilde have also had successful careers in the industry.

The 76-year-old will be performing at The Playhouse in High Street , Weston, on August 23 at 7.30pm.
