T’PAU has announced their sensational comeback tour will be flying into Weston this spring.

Original front two Carol Decker and Dean Howard have reunited for the first time since the band’s 1991 split.

The band that brought us singles China In Your Hand and Heart And Soul released their quadruple platinum-selling debut album, Bridge of Spies, 25 years ago.

To celebrate the band returns to play a series of UK gigs on the #T’Pau25 Tour.

Originally singer Decker had planned to front the band’s new line-up with Howard agreeing to join them on stage on special dates.

But the draw was too much for him as the front duo tour together for the first time in over 20 years.

Audiences can expect a string of hit songs, big hair and powerful, driving vocals.

T’Pau will play The Playhouse in Weston on April 25.

Tickets priced £19.50 and £17.50, are available on 01934 645 544 or online at www.theplayhouse.co.uk.

The Mercury has teamed up with The Playhouse to offer three lucky readers the chance to win tickets to the show.

To enter, answer the following question: In what year did T’Pau originally split?

Send your answer, along with an address and daytime telephone number to: T’Pau competition, Weston, Worle & Somerset Mercury, 32, Waterloo Street, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1LW by 9am on April 12.

Alternatively log on to www.westonmercury.co.uk to enter. Usual Archant rules apply and the editor’s decision is final
