American band The Mavericks are coming to Bristol on Friday.

The country band will play their old classics and songs from their new 2017 album, Brand New Day.

Formed in 1989 in Miami, The Mavericks are a neotraditional country-band who recorded six studio albums between 1991 and 2003.

They produced hits such as Here Comes The Rain and Dance The Night Away, which reached number four in the UK singles chart in 1998.

After an eight-year hiatus, the band reunited for several festival shows in 2012, and soon after recorded their reunion album, In Time.

The much-anticipated album was released in February 2013, followed by 2015’s Mono.

The Mavericks will play at Colston Hall, in Colston Street, on Friday at 7.30pm.

Buy tickets, priced £27.50-45, on 01172 034040 or online at www.colstonhall.org
