Fans of country music can don their cowboy hats and take to the Grand Pier for its first-ever all-American hoedown.

Party-goers can learn the moves and dance the night away with live calling and entertainment from the talented Blazing Saddles and their charismatic caller Miss Dixie.

Guests can also enjoy a delicious hog roll, with plenty of craft cider behind the bar to get people in the hoedown spirit.

So dig out your checked shirts and cowboy boots for an evening of light-hearted entertainment.

The event will take place on the pier at 7.30pm on July 2. Tickets, priced £20 including food, are available by calling 01934 646155 or from www.grandpier.co.uk

The Mercury has teamed up with the Grand Pier to offer two lucky readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to the show.

Usual Archant rules apply and the editor’s decision is final. By entering this competition you are agreeing to be contacted by Archant.
