Weston venue set for tribute weekender

PUBLISHED: 10:08 16 July 2012

METALLICA, UB40 and Black Sabbath will all be appearing in Weston this week… nearly.

A trio of top sound-alike acts will be appearing at a tribute weekender at Green Baize Sports Club in North Street.

On Friday, UB42 will take to the club stage to entertain two-tone fans with familiar hits like Red, Red Wine, Kingston Town and I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.

The following night, there will be a double-header of exciting tribute acts.

First up will be Black Sabbath mimics Snow Blind, a band renowned as the most authentic Ozzy Ozbourne tribute working today.

They will be joined by Angels Fall, a Metallica tribute sure to thrill crowds with their covers of the likes of Enter Sandman, One and Nothing Else Matters.

Doors open at 8pm on both nights. Friday night entry costs £5, but Saturday’s two-band show is free.
