POP rock duo Chas and Dave are heading out on tour and will be making a stop at Weston’s Playhouse.

Charles Nicholas and David Peacock, known as Chas and Dave, are famous for their sing-along classics, mixing a variety of humour with piano and rock ‘n’ roll music.

Now the musical duo have released a brand new album, That’s What Happens, and are heading out on tour after headlining The Royal Variety Show in 2013 and selling out The Royal Albert Hall.

The pair are known for creating the rockney style – a mixture of rock and cockney – after deciding they could not put on an American accent in their music.

Chas and Dave will be at The Playhouse with their On The Road tour on July 23 from 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £25.50-28.50, are available from the theatre’s box office on 01934 645544 or online via www.theplayhouse.co.uk
The Mercury has teamed up with The Playhouse to offer three lucky readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to see Chas and Dave.

The competition will close at 10am on June 26.

Usual Archant rules apply and the editor’s decision is final.
