A multi-platinum-selling harmony group will perform in Weston-super-Mare next month following the release of their newest album.

G4 is a four-piece vocal troupe which rose to fame during the first season of The X Factor.

The group were the runners up in the show’s pilot season and received a £1.5million album deal with Sony BMG.

G4 disbanded in 2007 but reunited in 2014 to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

The quartet currently consists of tenors Jonathan Ansell and Ben Thapa, baritone Mike Christie and bass Nick Ashby.

The group has enjoyed nationwide recognition for their music, with their first album reaching the top of the UK album charts.

The band has now released its new album, G4 Love Songs, and will perform around the country.

This new album features songs including Your Song, Amigos Para Siempre and I’d Do Anything For Love.

The group will also perform some of their greatest hits and covers including Bohemian Rhapsody, My Way and Nessun Dorma.

An evening of classical and romantic music will transport you away for the evening.

G4: Live In Concert will be at The Playhouse, in High Street, at 7.30pm on March 23.

Tickets, priced £27.50-77, are available from 01934 645544 or online via www.theplayhouse.co.uk
