PERFORMERS, schools, musicians, children’s entertainers and community groups are being urged to sign up for the Weston Super Showcase.
The event will be held at The Blakehay Theatre in Weston in October, and acts are being urged to sign up to take part before the end of the month.
The free show will take place on October 27-28, and is set to feature children’s shows, music gigs and a family variety show.
On October 27 the children’s show for four to nine-year-olds will take place from 10am to noon, and will feature entertainment for youngsters in the shape of arts and crafts.
That evening from 8-11pm a gig will feature some of the best of local musical talent, from rock and pop to classical and jazz.
The following day, a family variety show will take place from 7.30-10pm, with community groups, after-school clubs and theatre and dance schools urged to sign up to take part.
If you want to feature in any of the three shows or want to help with organising or sponsoring the event, go to www.weston-super-maretowncouncil.gov.uk and fill out a notice of interest.
Completed notices must be submitted by Monday.
