The performances take place at the Winter Gardens in Weston every Wednesday at 8pm until September 19.

Now in its 17th year this popular summer show features music from both stage and screen and this year’s theme is classics and old favourites.

With songs from South Pacific, The King & I, Hello Dolly, Mame, My Fair Lady, Sunset Boulevard and Camelot, it is produced by 1st Call Entertainment and directed by Matthew Jeanes.

All the performers live in the North Somerset area and therefore the show highlights a vast amount of local talent.

Julian Franks, of 1st Call Entertainment, who hosts the show and interjects information about the shows and films, said: “We are delighted to once again be presenting the Summer Season at The Winter Gardens.

“We are pleased that this is one of the longest-surviving summer season shows, which highlights its popularity and universal appeal.

“Together with our show director Matthew Jeanes we have chosen what promises to be an exciting programme of songs from both stage and screen.”

Tickets, priced £10-11.50, are available from the box office on 01934 645544 or via www.thewintergardens.com
