BURNHAM Ritz Acoustic Club will play host to the exciting new band The Sound of the Sirens on February 16.
The group includes three girls from the South West, two guitars and one stomp box.
After meeting in an Exeter nightclub, Abbe Martin, Hannah Wood and Lisa Eyre decided to form a trio, and with their imaginative use of melody and rhythm they are quickly becoming one of the region’s most sought-after acts.
Combining the folk tunes of Mumford & Sons with the rocking soul of KT Tunstall’s Black Horse And The Cherry Tree, the band is funny and feisty and has created some beautiful harmonies for the show.
Doors open at 8pm and tickets, priced £4, are available on the night or by calling 01278 785365.
