A classic children’s tale about 101 spotty puppies will be told by a North Somerset theatre group.

The tale of the 101 Dalmatians will be performed on the stage of Weston’s smallest theatre.

The story follows the adorable pups as they attempt to escape the evil clutches of Cruela de Vil, who wants to kill and skin them to make her luxury coats.

Director John Butler said: “Theatre In The Hut has joined with the Wayfarers Junior Group to put on 101 Dalmatians.

“The story is based on the original book. It has got its usual baddies and a lot of knock-about humour and some really good, cute dogs.”

The 101 Dalmatians will be at Theatre In The Hut, in Colonel Stephens Way, at 7.30pm from November 29 to December 2 and from December 6-9.
