One of the most popular West End musicals will make its way to Bristol next year – and casting has now been announced ahead of the tour.

Amy Ross – who has appeared in a number of West End shows, including Kinky Boots – will play Elphaba and former Eastenders star Aaron Sidwell will take on the role of love interest Fiyero.

Wicked follows the untold story of the Wicked Witch of the West (Elphaba) from The Wizard Of Oz and her unlikely friendship with Glinda.

With catchy songs and an emotional storyline, Wicked has proved a huge hit all over the world and will be in Bristol for just five weeks.

Wicked will be at The Hipprodrome, in St Augustines Parade from January 31 to March 3 next year with a range of performance times.

Tickets, priced £25-75 are available by calling 08448 717627 or via www.atgtickets.com/bristol
