A couple of well-known stars are taking to the stage in Bristol in the award-winning hit musical Chicago – and you could be there on opening night thanks to our competition.

X Factor winner Sam Bailey is taking on the role of Mama Morton, and her powerful voice is perfect to play the feisty prison guard. She takes prisoners Roxie and Velma under her wing as they both await trial for murder.

John Partridge, who is best known for his role as Eastenders favourite Christian Clarke, will take on the part of suave lawyer Billy Flynn. He attempts to spare the two women of the death penalty and does through some stunning musical numbers.

Chicago will be at the Bristol Hippodrome from July 4-9 at 7.30pm, with performances at 2.30pm on July 6 and 9. Tickets, priced from £15-53.50, are available from www.chicagotour.co.uk

The Mercury has teamed up with the Hippodrome to offer two lucky readers a pair of tickets to the show on July 4.
