Like rock and roll? Well, The Playhouse is welcoming the perfect show for you next month, and you could win tickets by entering our competition.

Variety production That’ll Be The Day is making a return to the Weston stage after three hugely successful decades of touring and this time will be even bigger and better.

There will be huge hits from the 1950s through to the 1970s, while the show also includes a host of comedy.

This production has been performed since the late 1980s, when it made its debut in a number of regional theatres.

Little did they know, it would be such a success that more than 200 shows a year would take place.

Trevor Payne can be credited with this success as he not only created the show from scratch in 1986, he directed, produced and starred in it –and still does to this day.

Payne makes sure there is new material in That’ll Be The Day each year and spends six months planning the new additions to the show.

You can expect stunning costumes and catch live music which is sure to have you on your feet dancing in the aisles.

That’ll Be The Day will be at The Playhouse, in High Street, on September 11 at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £26.50 for adults, £25.50 for over-60s and £17.50 for children, are available by calling 01934 645544 or online via
