An uplifting tale of friendship will launch at a brand new performing arts centre in Bristol this week.

The Girl & The Giraffe follows the story of a young girl playing in her garden who spots something peculiar behind the fence – a giraffe.

As their friendship grows, the giraffe falls ill and the girl does everything she can to help him.

With charming puppetry and beautifully scored music, the show teaches children the importance of friendship and that not all pain is visible.

The charming show is told from the girl’s perspective so even the oldest audience member can feel like a child again.

The Girl & The Giraffe will be at 1532 Performing Arts Centre in Bristol Grammar School, Elton Road, at 1pm and 4pm on Sunday and 11am and 2pm on Monday and Tuesday.

Tickets, priced £8, are available from 01179 020344 or online via www.tobaccofactorytheatres.com
