An award-winning series of books will come to life on stage for the first time.

Liz Pichon’s best-selling series Tom Gates will land at Weston’s Playhouse Theatre in June next year.

The producers behind the Olivier Award nominated Gangsta Granny and Horrible Histories stories have teamed up with the author and illustrator to create a brand new story for the stage.

The show follows Tom as he tries to keep out of trouble while things go increasingly wrong at home and school.

It features favourite characters from the stories including his best friends Derek and Norman and their band Dogzombies.

Tickets went on sale this week for what is set to be a very popular show.

Tom Gates Live On Stage will be at The Playhouse Theatre, in High Street, from June 12-16, 2019 at various times.

Tickets, priced £15.50-60, are available from or from 01934 645544.
