The Wayfarers Drama Group will perfrom Play On at Theatre In The Hut.

A Weston amateur-dramatic group will take to the stage this week to perform a hilarious play which will leave audiences in stitches.

The Wayfarers Drama Group will perform comedy show Play On at The Theatre In The Hut, in Colonel Stephens Way, from tomorrow (Wednesday) until Saturday at 7.30pm each night.

The Wayfarers produce several shows throughout the year at Theatre In The Hut and are known for their top-quality comedy performances.

The group’s latest show is based on a theatre group which is desperately trying to put on a play.

But the actors’ patience is continually tested by the meddling of a maddening author who keeps changing the script.

The three-act play takes audiences from rehearsals to the big night, but will anything go to plan?

Tomorrow’s performance will be dedicated to long-serving Wayfarer Graham Gadd, who recently passed away, and the group will be raising money for charity.

Tickets, priced £8-10, are available from 07493 940967 or online via www.wayfarersdrama.org.uk
