A musical set in the 1980s will be performed by an award-winning drama group in Weston from July 25-28.

The Oppitts are staging Fame Jr at the Blakehay Theatre, in Wadham Street, about life in a New York performing arts school.

It features a high-energy score and a touching coming-of-age story.

The show will raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Bristol.

Tickets, priced £12, are available from www.blakehaytheatre.co.uk or 01934 645493.

The Mercury has teamed up with the Oppitts to offer a pair of tickets to the show.
