One of the most talented singers in recent times will be celebrated at Weston’s Playhouse Theatre – and you can win tickets thanks to our competition.

Next month will see Whitney: Queen Of The Night bring together a number of musicians and singers to remember Whitney Houston and perform some of her biggest hits.

Houston sold more than 200 million records worldwide but died in 2012, leaving fans devastated that such a
talent had been lost at just
48 years old.

She had a tough life and was found to have accidently drowned in the bath, with cocaine in her system.

But she had such an impact on so many people through a string of incredible songs, which are still enjoyed around the world on a daily basis.

This is a tribute act which will take you on journey through three decades of music, as well as honour Houston’s memory.

Fans can except to hear emotional renditions of I Wanna Dance With Somebody, One Moment In Time, I’m Every Woman and the iconic I Will Always Love You.

This show aims to evoke emotion, as well as have you singing and dancing along – and it does not disappoint.

The performance has been described as ‘mightily impressive’ and a ‘fitting way to ensure the music of Whitney Houston lives on’.

But, the show is only in Weston for one night, so get tickets while you can.

Whitney: Queen Of The Night will be at The Playhouse, in High Street, on October 5 at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £26 for adults, £24 for over-60s and £15 for children, are available on 01934 645544 or from www.theplayhouse.co.uk
