A teenage tale of powerful love will be performed in Clevedon next month, and the Mercury has a pair of tickets to see it up for grabs.
The Girl And The Moon will be performed at Theatre Shop in Queens Square on April 5.
Claire is a 17-year-old girl who is going through plenty of life changes.
The only thing she is certain of is Ed, a boy she is madly in love with.
In a last-gasp attempt to prove her affection for him, Claire finds a way to climb the clouds and inscribe his name on the moon’s surface.
The show has been developed with the help of young people at New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich and is an honest, touching interpretation about difficult first relationships and the lengths people will go to declare their undying feelings for the person they love.
It is recommended for children aged nine and over.
The Girl And The Moon will be performed at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced £9, are available online.
Later that same week will be a series of performances of Mischief And Mystery In Moomin Valley, an interactive puppet show based on Tove Jansson’s much-loved novels.
British theatre group Get Lost And Found has been commissioned by Jansson’s literary estate and Moomins Characters to create the experience for children aged three to seven years old.
Mischief And Mystery In Moomin Valley will be performed at 11am, 1pm and 3pm on April 7.
Theatre Shop and the Mercury have teamed up to offer one lucky reader a pair of tickets to see The Girl And The Moon.
