An acclaimed theatre company’s latest comedy about time travel and the internet celebrity craze will be performed in North Somerset later this month.

Tremolo Theatre’s Then Again will be performed at Theatre Shop in Queens Square, Clevedon, on March 17.

The show follows budding YouTube star Millie who pushes her boundaries to uncover some hidden truths.

As well as studying for her PhD and making online videos of her crazy creations, Millie inadvertently invents a time machine which sees her visited by future versions of herself which start to shape her life.

Although her ambitions begin to grow, Millie becomes increasingly self-obsessed as she gets sucked into the fickle internet celebrity vacuum.

Eventually her best friend, Anna, gets replaced by millions of online fans known as Millie Makers as they consume their daily dose of Milliverse.

Will Millie rediscover true friendship before being changed forever?

Then Again delves into the power and influence of the internet through the medium of time travel.

The three-performer show also features original music and story-telling full of humour and emotion set against a backdrop of inventive staging.

Performances will also be held at The Wardrobe Theatre in Bristol from March 21-24 as part of a South West tour.

Then Again will be performed at 7.30pm when it is staged in Clevedon next weekend.

Tickets, priced £11, are available here or by calling 03336 663366.
