WESTON will be alive with music when exciting show Hits Of Motown takes to the stage next month.

The show stars ‘dynamic’ singer Roy G Hemmings, who worked alongside Johnny Moore as a member of classic motown group The Drifters for more than 10 years.

Hemmings’ glittering musical career spans four decades and includes appearances in several Royal Variety shows, alongside two performances at the White House for former United States president Bill Clinton.

He will be joined on stage by harmony group The Love Supremes for his performance at The Playhouse.

Hits Of Motown is set to entertain The Playhouse’s audience with performances of timeless hits from artists such as The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Martha Reeves And The Vandellas and Marvin Gaye, as well as many others.

Hits of Motown will be at The Playhouse, in the High Street, on July 24 at 7.30pm.
