In a story set in the year 2030, the supremely evil Baron Von Rockula goes on the hunt for a bride in New York, which is overrun with vampires.

The frightful businessman stalks the city for an eternal wife, while plotting how to convince her to become immortal.

Written by and starring Steve Steinman, Rockula is also joined by the talented singer Pandora, played by Hayley Russell.

She quickly becomes the fixation of the evil wife-hunter when he holds open auditions for a lead singer to accompany his band, the Lost Boys.

The show follows Rockula and his sidekick Bossley the janitor, played by John Evans, as they attempt to convince Pandora to seal her fate and resign her soul to rock and roll.

Some of the greatest rock anthems are wound into this 
magnificent performance such as We Will Rock You, Bat Out Of Hell, Sweet Child O’Mine and I Love Rock ’n’ Roll.

With superb singers, stunning pyrotechnics and dazzling stage sets, Carnival Du Vampires Rock will be at The Playhouse on March 16 at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £19-21, are available from the box office on 01934 645544.
