One of the UK’s longest-running vegan festivals is returning to Bristol – and the Mercury has tickets to give away.

VegFestUK Bristol will have a huge range of food and drink available, with more than 220 stalls serving vegan food inspired by cuisines from all over the world.

Along with the many dining options, there will also be performers, talks and demonstrations.

A festival spokesman said: “VegfestUK events are renowned as hotbeds of fine and sumptuous vegan foods, and the breadth and quality of food varieties available at the upcoming Bristol event at Ashton Gate Stadium reaches yet another new level.

“There will be a number of street food caterers serving wave after wave of majestic vegan dishes which complement one another nicely which will leave not only vegans and the vegan-curious, but even the most dedicated meat-eaters yearning for more.”

Ashton Gate will have sit-down three-course vegan menus available in its Heinken Lounge And Doughballers Pizzeria.

Street food will include Thai curries, organic ice cream, burgers and crepes, and comedy, magic, and a blues lounge will provide the evening entertainment.

VegFestUK Bristol will take place on May 26 from 11am-11pm and May 27 from 11am-9pm, at Ashton Gate Stadium in Ashton Road. Tickets, priced £6-12, are available at www.bristol.vegfest.co.uk/tickets

Entry is free for under-16s accompanied by an adult.

The Mercury has teamed up with the VegFestUK organisers to offer four supporters tickets to one lucky winner. The tickets provide access to hospitality lounges and goody bags.

Usual Archant rules apply and the editor’s decision is final. By entering the competition, you agree to be contacted by Archant.

The competition closes at 10am on May 17.
