The world’s biggest vegetarian event, VegfestUK, is coming to Bristol where the Happy Mondays will headline a 5,000 capacity outdoor gig.

It is the 10th anniversary of this three-day festival where visitors can experience a feast of different plant-based cuisine from across the globe.

There will be 125 stalls crammed with goodies, including food, body care, clothes fashion and accessories as well as recipes, nutritional information and cookery demonstrations.

In the evenings, proceedings move to the main stage where there will be live music from the Happy Mondays, The Farm and 808 State, among others.

Peter Hook of New Order and Joy Division will play a DJ set, and an after party will take place on the Saturday night at Canvas nightclub.

VegfestUK takes place in the Amphitheatre and Waterfront Square from May 24-26.

Tickets for the daytime events, priced £2, are available on the gate.

Tickets for the evening events, priced £10-25, are available from or or calling 08448 700000.
