Village music club plays with top brass

A VILLAGE music club played alongside one of the country’s leading brass ensembles in a special concert.

The Brass Players from the Cheddar Valley Music Club played alongside Onyx Brass Quintet at a Cheddar Arts @ Kings Theatre event.

The Onyx Brass Quintet described the Cheddar musicians as being ‘without doubt some of the most talented, disciplined, enthusiastic and humble young musicians we have come across.’

Cheddar Valley Music Club leader Anne Higgs said: “It was a superb evening and enjoyed by the audience, as well as the musicians.

“We thank Onyx Brass Quintet for the wonderful experience and also Gill Scard and Cheddar Arts for making it possible.”
