SOME of the finest artistic talents in North Somerset will pool their artwork for a village exhibition starting this week.
Made In Wrington is a newly-formed group of local artists who will be exhibiting their artwork at five venues around the village from today (Thursday) to Bank Holiday Monday.
The venues will be open today (Thurs) from 6-9pm, and from 11am-5pm from tomorrow (Fri) to Bank Holiday Monday.
At The Walled Garden Studios in Long Lane, Jane Geeson, Jennifer Davidson, Sarah Aumayer, Karen Edwards, Bill Moore, Samantha Gilraine, Ann Dale, Susan and Adrian MacKay and Clare Hooper and Harriet St Leger will be displaying work as varied as wall plaques, paintings and sculptures.
At Sims Hill in Ropers Lane Bridget Winterbourne, Willa Ashworth and Malcolm Curley will be exhibiting, Julie Kingcott will show her work in The Gallery in High Street and Amy Shiner in Glaisters in Church Walk.
Meanwhile at the art in the field event in a nine-acre outdoor space in Wrington Road, Congresbury, Pip Gillman, Jeff Body, Fran Wardell and others will be exhibiting their work.
