AUTHOR Clayton Littlewood brings the secrets of London’s Soho life to light in his new book, the second of his published diaries.

Former Broadoak student Clayton, aged 48, moved to Weston when he was five years old.

While his family, including his 10 nephews and nieces, still live in Weston, Clayton moved out of the town at the age of 19 and travelled to London.

After completing an MA in film and television and writing comedy scripts, Clayton turned to running the clothes shop Dirty White Boy with his partner Jorge Betancourt. This led on to him publishing his first book in 2008 and in turn following this up with Goodbye To Soho.

Clayton’s candid, touching and humorous accounts of life as co-owner of a fashionable shop in London’s Old Compton Street are enchanting and engrossing.

Clayton captures a memorable moment in Soho’s history and his writing finds humour and affection for the prostitutes, street cleaners, bag ladies and shoplifters that he encountered on one of the most colourful street corners in the world.
