Stars of wrestling are ready to lay the smack down in Weston later this month, and the Mercury has a prize worth £100 up for grabs.

The Combat Sports Federation (CSF) will take Saturday Night Slam to Hutton Moor Leisure Centre, in Hutton Moor Road, on September 29 at 6pm.

The CSF has brought a long list of big names to Weston in the past, including WWE superstars Mr Kennedy, ‘The Masterpiece’ Chris Masters, Jack Swagger and ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan – wowing the crowds with their awe-inspiring moves in the squared circle.

The family-friendly show will see 16 of the best wrestlers on the British circuit battling in five gruelling bouts, which will be packed with lots of high-flying and crowd-pleasing moments.

The highlight of the night promises to be the Battle For The Belt, which will see the wrestlers lock horns in a tables, ladders and chairs match.

The aim of the contest will be to pummel their rivals into submission before ascending the ladder to collect the golden contract 15ft above the ring which will earn them a shot at the All Nations Championship.

Tickets for this unmissable night of high-octane action, priced £11-15, are available online via www.csfshop.co.uk

The Mercury has teamed up with the CSF to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a family VIP pass to see Saturday Night Slam at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre on September 29 at 6pm.

The pass, worth £100, includes four VIP seats and backstage passes to meet the stars for pictures and autographs after the event.
