Leavers’ photos from dozens of North Somerset schools will be published by the Mercury next week.

This month sees hundreds of pupils leave their primary schools ahead of moving on to secondary schools in September.

To commemorate the end of an era, the Mercury has invited all schools within the area to take part in the picture special.

A 16-page supplement will be published in the newspaper next week, on July 19.

It was due to be published tomorrow (Thursday), but due to some schools requesting a bit of extra time to take part, the publication has been pushed back one week.

* Pick up a copy at any newsagents, supermarket or from the Mercury’s office at 32 Waterloo Street, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1LW.
