A Celebrity Big Brother star hopes to mesmerise people on his new tour.

Medium Derek Acorah will be bringing his new show to Weston next month.

The modern medium’s show is catered to all ages and generations and he remains the forerunner in the field of paranormal and spiritual matters.

Acorah first rose to fame in 1996 on the TV channel Granada Breeze where he had shows Livetime and Psychic Livetime.

In July 2001, he joined a new British TV programme called Haunting Truths which was later renamed Most Haunted and he starred in for six series.

He has also starred in Antiques Ghost Show and was presented with the Variety Club of Great Britain’s Multichannel TV Personality Of The Year Award.

Acorah’s TV career continues with additional appearances on Celebrity Juice, Loose Lips, Richard And Judy, Harry Hill’s TV Burp and The Weakest Link as well as a cameo in 2011 film Big Fat Gypsy Gangster.

Acorah took part in the 20th series of Celebrity Big Brother last year where he shared the house with the likes of Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, who went on to win the series, and X Factor finalist Amelia Lily – he finished in fourth place.

Derek Acorah – Love, Life, Laughter will be at Weston’s Playhouse Theatre, in High Street, at 7.30pm on July 5.

Tickets, priced £19.50, are available from or from 01934 645544.

The Mercury has once again teamed up with the theatre to offer two lucky readers a pair of tickets to see the show.

This competition closes at 10am on June 15.
