Comic book superheroes will join forces to defend the innocent in DC’s newest blockbuster.

Justice League will air in cinemas this weekend and will see Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg join forces in the wake of Superman’s death.

Following on from the events of Batman Vs Superman: Dan Of Justice, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) is inspired by Superman’s sacrifice for humanity and decides to unite a team of metahumans.

Together the team will face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons, who are on the hunt for three Mother Boxes on Earth.

Gal Gadot will reprise her role as Wonder Woman following the success of DC’s most recent film by the same name which made $412.56million at the box office.

Game Of Thrones star Jason Momoa will make his superhero debut on the silver screen as Aquaman, the heir to the throne of the undersea nation of Atlantis.

Fantastic Beasts actor Ezra Matthew Miller will play The Flash, as a Central City university student who can move at superhuman speeds with his ability to tap into the Speed Force.

Completing the line up is Ray Fisher as Cyborg, a former college athlete who, after being cybernetically reconstructed after a nearly fatal accident, has powers which allow him to manipulate technology and turn his arms to cannons.
