(Image: Ellis Rogers/We Grew Up In Weston-super-Mare)Many residents seem to have experienced strange goings-on at Uphill Grange. In the comments, one person said: "I worked nights there from 1996-1999 and the lift sometimes used to go up on its own and we heard doors slam sometimes but nice place.

"Was a children's home years before."

Another added: "I used to work there but was made redundant when it closed. It was very creepy on my last day when everyone else had gone home and I was left on my own to shut up. I’d love to know more about the place."
