WESTON locals have been looking back on times gone by in the We Grew Up In Weston-super-Mare Facebook page.

One poster has shared some vintage postcards of the town, which feature iconic locations such as the seafront, the Marine Lake, and Anchor Head.

Residents are invited to share photos and memories about growing up in the town. Perhaps you would like to reminisce about a business that has now closed its doors, or share a fond childhood memory you have of the seafront.

Editor of the newspaper, Tim Lethaby, posted on the group: "This group is for anyone who wants to share their old pictures and memories of Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas.

"By posting in the group you consent to the Weston Mercury using the photos and comments in our respective publications, websites and social media channels.

"We ask that you only post images which you hold the copyright for."
