A FORMER X Factor runner-up will take centre stage among an all-star cast as The Rocky Horror Show tour stops in Bristol.
For 40 years Richard O’Brien’s masterpiece has thrilled legions of fans across the globe with the rock ‘n’ roll spectacular.
Double-platinum selling artist Rhydian Roberts will be joined by Oliver Thornton (Les Miserables, Phantom Of The opera), Ben Forster (Jesus Christ Superstar) and former Emmerdale and Waterloo Road actress Roxanne Pallett, when the show comes to Bristol on Monday.
The musical follows innocent college pupils Brad (Forster) and his fiancée Janet (Pallett), who meet Dr Frank’n’Furter (Thornton) by chance when their car breaks down outside his house.
It leads to them experiencing an unforgettable musical adventure bursting with timeless songs and outrageous outfits.
This musical extravaganza will feature all of its famous musical classics including Science Fiction/Double Feature, Dammit Janet and The Time-Warp.
Christopher Luscombe has produced the latest tour which marks 40 years since The Rocky Horror Show hit the stage in 1973.
It has had many stars over the years including Jerry Springer, Russell Crowe and Meatloaf and was famously turned into a film in the mid-1970s.
It will be performed at the Bristol Hippodrome from Monday to January 19.
