GLASTONBURY Abbey Extravaganza 2011, the wonderful open air event held in beautiful parkland surrounding the historic ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, takes place over two evenings this year - and the organisers have teamed up with the Weston Mercury to offer our readers a chance to win one of two pairs of tickets to either event as competition prizes.
On Saturday August 6 headliners Status Quo return to the Abbey supported by the world famous Bootleg Beatles performing the greatest hits of The Fab Four.
Sunday August 7 sees the stunning Katherine Jenkins perform for the first time at the Abbey. Her special guest will be opera star Wynne Evans. The National Symphony Orchestra will also be performing throughout Sunday night under conductor, Anthony Inglis and Mendip Male Voice Choir will entertain the crowds at this years’ concert. Both nights will culminate in fantastic fireworks displays – not to be missed!
To enter the competition, simply answer the following question: Name the orchestra that will be playing on the Sunday evening?
