The Weston & Somerset Mercury has teamed up with The Playhouse, Weston, to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets to see the show

THE legendary sound of The Eagles will be faithfully recreated in Weston later this month.Five-piece tribute band Talon will bring their hit show to The Playhouse and bring alive the sound of one of the most successful bands of all time.Talon's set includes popular Eagles tracks Tequila Sunrise, Lyin' Eyes, Take It To The Limit and, of course, the hugely popular, Hotel California. The first half recreates moments from The Eagles 1994 Hell Freezes Over Tour, while the second half sees Talon bring The Eagles story bang up to date with highlights from the Eagles current Farewell I Tour.The five accomplished, multi-talented musicians recreate the wonderful West Coast country rock music of The Eagles, with the same magic, exceptional close harmonies and fantastic guitar playing as the originals. For an evening full of top tunes from the 1970s and some of the greatest guitar solos in the world, catch Talon in action from 8pm on September 28.
