HAVE you noticed how the people who complain about a problem are often the people who are causing the problem in the first place? Take, for instance, the supposed inadequacies of Junction 21 of the M5. It is all very well to moan about the congestion, the difficulties and the delays in leaving Weston during the morning rush-hour, or to blame the council, the Government, the highways agency or whoever, but who is really to blame? It's those selfish, unsociable, irresponsible people who insist on taking the car, obstructing the highway and pumping excessive pollutants into the air. And those of us who try to do our bit by catching the bus are delayed by them.Of course, the authorities should play their part as well. The huge cost of public transport, the lack of local employment opportunities and so on, need to be addressed urgently by local and National Government. But this does not excuse individuals from their own responsibilities.RACHEL MORGAN - Bristol Road Lower, Weston
