I WAS shocked to read that Weston's 85ft Silica is blocking out CCTV footage of criminals smashing up the front of Clare Morris' cafe, Coco Browns, at Big Lamp Corner. Hard-working owners of shops have their windows smashed regularly. I believe there is one way the problem can be controlled and that is to stop 'happy hours', which pubs and clubs are still advertising along the seafront.I hope North Somerset Council, and the police can sort this out and give business people like Clare Morris a break to earn their bread and butter.D F COURTNEY - Victoria Park, Weston
