MAY I comment on the first class Service of Remembrance and march past on Sunday last, in Grove Park. The event organised by the town council, and run by the town clerk and her staff, was excellent. There were by my reckoning over 1,000 people attending, the most I have seen in four years. The march past at the end also deserves a mention, as I lost count when more than 200 young people took part in the parade. They represented the three armed forces, scouts, cubs, guides, brownies, the St John Ambulance, and many other smaller groups. What a good sign of our often maligned young people giving up their Sunday morning in remembrance.DAVID J EVANSTavistock Road, Worle
