I KNOW lots of people are excited at the thought of having another new supermarket like Sainsbury's in Portishead but I am writing to complain about it.
I KNOW lots of people are excited at the thought of having another new supermarket like Sainsbury's in Portishead but I am writing to complain about it.
I, along with other people, fear that with all these big stores coming here, the smaller, family run shops could go out of business.
Consequently the workers and family members of the smaller shops will be out of work and some will lose what they have worked for all their lives.
They will all be out of money with no work because of the bigger shops.
What will these workers do if they cannot find new jobs?
So I ask everyone to think really hard about whether or not we need really need another supermarket.
