I HEARD a few weeks ago, with some concern that a police officer on being informed that supposedly the seats at the end of Meadow Street were being used by drug dealers, was going to look into their removal.

Well they have been. What a little gem this police officer is going to be to the community as a whole.
Now expectant mums have nowhere to rest for five/10 minutes before collecting their children from the nearby school/kindergartens. Neither do the senior citizens who, for gentle exercise, choose to walk from town along Meadow Street/Baker Street and beyond.
Small wonder then that some senior citizens say the feel they are treated as a problem/drain on the community and should not really be on this planet at all.
So well done PC? The sooner you are promoted and move on, the better for the law abiding members of the general public living in Weston.
