JUST how many of our council officials cost the taxpayer £2,200 a week? Can someone tell us? I always thought the top people were well paid, but surely if they make errors (story headlined 'Misconduct warning for director') they should get more than a slap on the wrist.Someone appears to have opened a can of worms that North Somerset Council would prefer to disappear. In fact we even had a spokesman saying they were upset that the local press had managed to obtain certain information and they would launch a formal investigation to try to find the source.
