I too am a Westonian born and bred. Every word in your letter is so true, we were against all that has gone on to the detriment of our town.
The councils that have allowed today's state of affairs to reach such a sorry mess have a lot to answer for.
Years ago our council consisted of local businessmen, (and I mean truly local, not outsiders), who had the welfare and prosperity of Weston at heart, running things, so that we had a Weston we could be proud of.
They would also have listened to our views and not totally ignore the wishes of Westonians.
So all power to your elbow Mr Neale, we, born and bred here, are right behind you.
