FOR months now, everytime I travel on the A370 between Congresbury and Weston I find myself stuck in traffic congestion, mainly caused by horses and traps from the travellers site at Hewish.
FOR months now, everytime I travel on the A370 between Congresbury and Weston I find myself stuck in traffic congestion, mainly caused by horses and traps from the travellers' site at Hewish.
They are exercising their horses all day, everyday, sometimes three or four at a time. While I realise these horses have to be exercised, the A370 is a very dangerous place to do it and it is only a matter of time before the drive of the trap or a member of public is seriously injured or killed. Surely there must be a private track they can carry out this exercise. Have other readers experienced these delays? Could the authorities please do something before someone is hurt?
