I AM compelled to write and express my thoughts on the latest dance school show presented at Weston's Playhouse. Imagination by the Dance Company was admirable; the costumes were colourful, imaginative and well thought out; the mixture of dance styles, music tempi and age groups was perfectly balanced and the content was fun, entertaining and enjoyable to watch. But what really struck me were the students themselves! Ranging from around three years to maybe 16 years of age, I have never experienced so much up-and-coming talent in one place! Regardless of age, they all oozed charm and performed their respective dances with conviction. But above all, they all looked as if they were really enjoying themselves! And isn't that the way it should be?SOPHIE TEALE - Via e-mail
