IN REPLY to the letter written by an anonymous Knightstone resident, I too live opposite Marine Lake and have lived through the improvement project. As I'm retired I don't have the luxury of escaping the noise during the day, and endured the machinery, pile driving and dredging, but drew the line at being kept awake for 48 hours and like several others complained. So the company kindly allowed us to sleep between 11/12pm and 7am.I understand they haven't completed the work and will start again in the autumn. Hopefully I will have found another abode by then. The trouble is I cannot see a lot of difference for all the work that has been done and money spent.MS SUSAN LOCK - Birnbeck Road, Weston
