I would like to support Labour's prospective parliamentary candidate David Bailey in his efforts to get a permanent community centre for the Maltlands. Unless we take action to address the history of teenage trouble in this area we are storing up problems for the future. Improved community facilities can play a vital part in bringing back pride in an areaI would urge all your readers to support David's worthwhile campaign for this long overdue facility.DEREK KRAFT -Via email
